WBYCP at Young Bled Strategic Forum

For the second year Western Balkans Youth Cooperation Platform partnered with Bled Strategic Forum to boost regional youth cooperation and support the much needed dialogue with youngsters from EU Member States, Western Balkans six and neighboring countries with regard to the top pressing challenges that youth in the region of the Western Balkans face and on common youth development approaches and paths.

How to modernize education, improve employability and increase political participation through youth cooperation?

In order to set the scene for the working groups in each of the topics, Krisela Hackaj, Executive Director of Cooperation and Development Institute introduced the participants with WBYCP supported by Hanns Seidel Foundation and shared the WBYCP six country research findings prepared by our partners - National Youth Council of Serbia, National Youth Council of Macedonia, National Youth Congress of Albania, Kosovar Youth Council, Bosnia and Herzegovina Association for United Nations and High School Student Union of Montenegro.

This presentation was followed by a Symposium Cafe - World Cafe scenario - based on working sessions with the participants coming from civil society, governmental institutions, academia and private sector.

Innovative solutions, best practices on youth empowerment, recommendations of policy level, grass-root initiatives were broadly discussed and will enrich our youth perspective angle of the regional research on the top 3 pressing issues.
