This report gives an overview of the labour market in Montenegro, detailing the socio-economic characteristics of youth and their labour market outcomes. It includes an overall description of household characteristics, the aspirations and life goals of young people and their educational achievements, as well as presents the specific characteristics of youth employment in the country, including details on sector and occupation, wages, working hours, job satisfaction and qualifications mismatch, youth unemployment: their obstacles to finding work and the available routes for job search, and analyzes the factors determining the length of transition from school to employment. It also presents policy implications of the SWTS in Montenegro and concludes with policy recommendations drawn from analysis of the survey.
