A mapping and comparative assessment of Youth Organizations in the Western Balkans. An insight to Youth Organizations and Youth Policy in Albania, Montenegro and Serbia.

This policy paper presents the results of the project "Enhancing Regional Youth Connectivity", while providing a mapping of the youth organizations in the three partner countries, Albania, Montenegro and Serbia. 193 youth organizations, including youth movements, umbrella organizations, CSOs focusing youth, etc., from Albania, Montenegro and Serbia have contributed to the conduct of a comparative assessment of the profile features of the youth organizations, their activities, needs and constrains, financing, communication strategy and expectations from the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO), established since December 2016 in Tirana, Albania. Adapted and tailor- made policy recommendations were provided to the RYCO, for an active participation and contribution of youth organizations in its policy-making process. The research also provides concrete recommendations to youth policy-makers and youth organizations.
